Benicia Arsenal FC is now accepting applications for those wishing to coach and train for our club. We are always looking for great candidates as team head coaches, assistant coaches and trainers. We especially encourage club alumni who are interested in getting started in coaching to apply. Please fill out a Select Coaching Application and send it back to our select coordinator.  Our select coordinator and Director of Coaching will be in contact with you after they receive the application to discuss your credentials and the current and future availability of positions on our staff.  We look forward to receiving your application. Click here to download the Select Coach Application

Application Deadline: All forms must be received by Midnight, January 01, 2012. You can email the completed form to Kevin Wolfe at select@beniciasoccer.org. Or, you can mail the form to Select Coordinator, P.O. Box 484, Benicia, CA 94510. The form must be in the P.O. Box on, or before, the 01h of January.

New Winter Training Program 2012!
Players of all age groups (U8 - U19) are encouraged to attend training sessions ran by professional coaches that will allow players to not only learn new tricks,turns,skills and techniques but allow them to play scrimmages, keep in shape during the off season and prepare for Benicia Arsenal F.C tryouts or simply enjoy playing soccer at this time of year.

Training sessions will be headed up by Benicia Youth Soccer's Director of Coaching Alex Lobban a former professional soccer player and international (UEFA) and domestically (USSF/NSCAA) qualified soccer coach. Alex has worked in conjunction with the San Jose Earthquakes, Diablo Valley College and Olympic Development programs.

Cost: $85 for entire 7 week program commencing week of January 9th through to February 24th.

2012 ARSENAL FC TRYOUTS:

Due to the inclement weather we will be postponing tryouts this weekend. Tryouts have been moved to the following dates and times:

All tryouts will be held at Benicia Community Park.  Please keep an eye on this webpage for potential location changes and changes due to weather.

Arsenal Girls:
Saturdays January 28th & February 4th
U9/10 - 9:00 am - 10:30a,m
U11/12 - 10:45 am -12:15 pm
U13/14 - 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

Arsenal Boys:
Sunday January 29th
U9/10 - 9:00 am - 10:30a,m
U11/12 - 10:45 am -12:15 pm
U13/14 - 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

Sunday February 5th
U9/10 - 8.30 - 10.00a.m
U11/12/13/14 - 10.15 - 11.45a.m

Please wear soccer training shirt, shorts, socks (No branding of previous clubs allowed: Arsenal or other) Bring shin guards, ball and water. All players are expected to try out in their respective age groups as per the age chart used at registration and will be teamed according to evaluators recommendations post tryouts.
