Benicia Arsenal FC’s Academy program is an opportunity for recreational players to accelerate their development through extra training and competition opportunities.

The Academy is an invite only program (based on player ratings from coaches and input from our Director of Coaching) for players registered to our Recreational Program. We offer teams for U10 boys, U10 girls, U12 boys and U12 girls. The Academy is provided as part of our club’s development pathway and provides a bridge between our Recreational and Competitive programs.

The Academy training groups will train twice per week in July, before joining their regular Recreational League teams between August and early November. On the conclusion of the Recreational Fall season, the Academy groups will come together again to train twice per week in preparation to play an end of season tournament in late November.

Training is conducted by specially selected volunteer coaches, with support from our club’s Director of Coaching.

This program involves an additional cost to cover extra tournament, uniform and training requirements. Exact costs and details are included in player invite emails (sent out in June).
