Top Soccer Program
Benicia Arsenal FC
Benicia Arsenal F.C.’s Top Soccer is a program designed for children with special needs, ages 5 to 21, who face mental and/or physical challenges that would keep them from participating in a typical soccer program. Top Soccer teams may include those who have:
- Impaired vision, hearing, or mobility
- Autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual or developmental delays
- Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, or other physical challenges
- Attention Deficit Disorder or related attention/focus challenges
Our program is growing rapidly, with over 30 players in our most recent season. This is a great opportunity for these children to learn and play the game of soccer. The length of game, style of play, and game rules will be tailored to the players. Teams will be formed by the coaches, and they will spend 20 to 30 minutes on warm-up and building skills followed by game play for 30 minutes. In total, each session should run approximately an hour.
Games are held every Saturday, for 10 weeks. The season begins in early August and runs through November. Benicia Arsenal Football Club (BAFC) provides this program to players for only $25. The BAFC will provide Top Soccer with game equipment, and each player will receive a uniform. Players must provide their own shin guards and soccer cleats or tennis shoes.

If a registration fee refund is requested before June 1st, seventy-five (75%) of the registration fees will be refunded if the player decides not to participate in the BAFC during the season.
If a registration fee refund is requested on or after June 1st, but before August 1st, fifty (50%) of the registration fees will be refunded if the player decides not to participate in the BAFC during the season.
All refund requests will be denied if received on or after August 1st.
Late fees, fundraising monies, and club fees are non-refundable.
